STEM Education

STEAM refers to the academic disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics collectively. The promotion of STEM education aligns with the worldwide education trend equipping students to meet the changes and challenges in our society and around the world with rapid economic, scientific and technological developments as well as challenges in the 21st century.

Objective:

1. To strengthen students’ ability to integrate and apply knowledge across related disciplines through the participation of STEAM-related activities.
2. To nurturing students’ learning interest, enhancing their creativity, collaboration and problem solving skills as well as developing their innovativeness.
3. To nurture students as self-directed learners by providing extended learning opportunities
4. To increase students’ desire to explore STEAM as a career option.
